DIS, a long-standing user of the MobTrack24 system, implemented an internal fuel station with a professional self-service fuel dispensing machine. Since DIS operates across the entire territory of Serbia and the company’s headquarters is located in the central part of the country, a large number of vehicles can complete their routes and return to base on a single tank. The key challenge was to control a process in which the driver refuels independently, without direct supervision by station staff. Without automatic verification, there is a risk that fuel could be dispensed into another vehicle, an external container, or in an amount that does not match the actual condition of the official vehicle’s fuel tank.
Fuel dispensing verification through vehicle data
The solution is based on integrating the MobTrack24 platform with a professional fuel dispensing machine, GPS devices connected to the CAN bus, and the company’s ERP system. After refueling is completed, the fuel dispensing record system, as part of the integration implemented with the Petrolsoft solution, calls MobTrack24 via a web service and retrieves vehicle-specific data, including mileage, fuel level before refueling, fuel level after refueling, and total fuel consumed since the previous refueling. This data is then matched with the quantity of fuel recorded by the dispensing machine and used for the automatic verification of the transaction.

Full control over internal fuel dispensing
The most important value of this solution is that the internal fuel dispensing process becomes measurable, verifiable, and automatically controlled. The system makes it possible to compare every refueling event with the actual condition of the vehicle, allowing deviations between the recorded fuel quantity, the change in tank level, mileage, and previous fuel consumption to be identified quickly. Any irregularities can be detected and flagged immediately. In addition, integration with the ERP system allows relevant data on mileage, vehicle and driver working hours, as well as fuel consumption, to be used in the company’s broader business and control processes.
